Takeoff
1. Flaps 15° (first notch)
2. Park Brakes RELEASE
3. Throttle 50% to 75%
4. Accelerate 85 KIAS
5. Control Stick PULL BACK AND CLIMB TO DESIRED ALTITUDE
6. Accelerate TO DESIRED SPEED
7. Flaps RETRACT

Cruising
1. Normal Power 50 - 65% (rpm BELOW 39000, EGT BELOW 790)


Approach and Landing
1. Electric Fuel Pump ON
2. Flaps 15° (first notch)
3. Final Approach Speed 95 KIAS
4. AOA GREEN LIGHT
5. Speed 85 KIAS
6. On landing Cutt Throttle


Parking
1. Parking Brake SET
2. Flaps RETRACT
3. Electric Fuel Pump OFF
4. Radios OFF
5. Throttle FULL AFT
6. Eng Starter OFF
7. Master Switch OFF

Procedure for landing after engine fire.

(1) Single engine aircraft fire in the Air
- close throttle
- turn off fuel
- check fuel booster pump off
- turn off cabin air and heating to prevent smoke in cockpit
- when the fire stops switch off ignition
- carry out forced landing informing ATC of intentions
- if flames enter cabin use cabin extinguishers

(2) Single engine aircraft forced landing procedure
- adopt gliding attitude
- close throttle
- look thru arc of 60 degrees for adequate landing zone
- avoid obstacles by making gentle turns
- (only if time permits try another fuel tank or restart of engine)
- (if engine doesn't restart then:)
- switch off ignition, turn off fuel, pull back idle cut off (throttle)
- delay using flaps until certain to be able to reach the landing zone
- if risk of overshoot make a sideslip to increase rate of descent
- lock undercarriage below 300 feet
- before touchdown unlock cabin doors to escape
- never attempt to fly back to the runway!
